I tend to eat so many of these sugar cookies that I only make them at Christmas time. Enjoy!
Grandma’s Cookies
2 cups Vegetable shortening
3 cups sugar
2 teaspoon salt
4 eggs
4 teaspoons baking powder
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon nutmeg
8 cups flour
2 cups buttermilk
Mix all ingredients together. Drop from spoon onto a greased cookie sheet. Bake at 400 degrees F for 10 minutes.
