I stocked up on Spring themed card making papers over the last month. I thought I knew what I had bought until I came upon a packaged labeled inserts. They were long pieces with a blank along the center and decorations along the edges.

What were these for?

Junk journals and albums, perhaps? They were pretty enough to be the focal.

So I googled the papers then toggled over to YouTube to find some designs using them.

Seems they are for inserting into the card providing enough space to write your greeting while coordinating with the cover.

Clever.

But there aren’t enough cardmaking videos featuring them probably because most card makers decorate the insides of their cards with the scraps from making the front. 😀
