Once the floors were laid in the 3 bedrooms, it was time to put everything back. My goal was to have everything returned to its new and proper place by Saturday evening. I finished it, with hours to spare, and walked roughly 7 miles in the process (that’s a lot of trips).
Sunday was to be devoted to hanging the new closet organizer in the front bedroom, which had the added benefit of removing 3 boxes from my dining area.
I started on the closet soon after breakfast on Sunday. While the hubbinator worked on the backyard, I measured, cut drilled and screwed to hang the rails then install the panels and shelves.
It wasn’t long before I realized I was a box short of a finished product. Somewhere along the lines I noticed that I was missing 8 shelves and one 8″ drawer.
So I then wrote to the manufacturer who will probably tell me to reach out to the seller. Anyway, I consulted the Magic 8 ball and asked if it would be done before everyone arrived at Thanksgiving. Signs did not look promising.
Ah, well. What I have up is nice. It’s just no completely functional.
Until next time, stay healthy.
