Everyone is Brave Until…

They realize cockroaches have wings.

Sometime last night, my daughter watched her orange kitten stalk something across the floor. Then the Peachinator caught her prey and dropped it on my daughter’s lap.

Unfortunately the prey was a cockroach.

My daughter shoved it off her lap then demanded her cat take the gift back. With a flick of her tail, the Peachinator walked away miffed.

Then my daughter chased down predator #2.

Cyanide apparently took one look and trotted back to his room.

Thankfully, there are two new kittens in the house. She grabbed the mighty, strippedty Gus-Gus who didn’t see the cockroach.

But his little sister pounced. And got it into her mouth before spitting it out. Then Gus-Gus gobbled him up.
