C is for Christmas Cookie

My cookie minion was liberated last year when she moved out of the house. yes, I cried. Because after school let out for the semester she would do the heavy lifting in the cookie department and I did the dunking in milk and eating part.

So now, I’m all alone with a yummy Nutella cookie recipe, but it isn’t as much fun to make with just Elvis and me. But I shall go on.

And while I don’t mean to disrespect other cookies. Nothing says Christmas like sugar cookies. I make 4 different kinds of them. Yes, 4. No, they don’t all taste the same, unless you’re talking delicious. Some are fat and fluffy, others are paper thin and two seconds away from burnt, and others have frosting and are rolled and cut out.

Aside from the sugar cookie extravaganza, I make gingerbread cookies, almond cookies, chocolate chip, and oatmeal cookies.

Because, you can freeze the cookies and eat them until March.

Well, I could if there wasn’t others in the house who find them in the freezer and eat the whole ones leaving nothing but crumbs in plastic baggies and bins.

I’m not proud, I eat the crumbs.

So what is your go to Christmas Cookie.
