I’ll admit it. I love horror movies, SciFi movies, and rom-coms, but I love, love, love mysteries. I love reading them and watching them on TV and at the Movies.

It doesn’t even seem to matter which kind of mysteries.

I’ve watched all of Agatha Christie’s cozy mysteries. I contributed to the body count by watching Murder, She Wrote and all the NCIS/CSI shows, plus a slew of others.

Lately, I’ve been binging on Murdoch Mysteries from Canada.

And I was struck at how much they remind me of an old show, The Adventures of Brisco County Jr. Of course, Murdoch doesn’t have the same snark as Brisco but they both are fringe forensic shows.

So, as I wait for the new summer shows to start, I might see if I can find the only season of Brisco from our local Zia’s.
