The Continuing Effort

That should probably read the ongoing effort. I’m sure if I bothered to put things away in the first place, I wouldn’t spend months cleaning, straightening and organizing.

Yes, folks, it’s that time of year again.

When the temperatures drop. When touching metal no longer causes second-degree burns. When the daylight is to be shunned.

I’m talking fall.

I’m talking cleaning out the garage.

Some of you practice the dark arts (organization) and can actually park your car in your garage. For the rest of us humans, we may attempt to clear some space once a year. But don’t hold your breath.

I have three other people living in my house who see that room as their own personal annex. Either that or spontaneous generation is a real thing and it happens in my garage (I wonder if it could generate gold or silver)/

Still, I’ll be working on it a little at a time, because that’s how you eat everything, in the hopes that I’ll be finished by the new decade.

Wish me luck. I’m going in.

Until next time.
