Aside from the new normal of visiting 7 stores in an effort to pick up 90% of the items on our grocery list, we did manage to tick one thing off our to-do list: we installed our new wireless doorbell.
It was the smoothest installation of any project we experience.
Okay, it wasn’t without problems.
We didn’t have small enough wire nuts to cap off the old wires. The electricity had already been turned off.
And there was the very high weeds we had to face to get to the installation spot outside my son’s door. Still, it was done in under 10 minutes.
Too bad, the delivery guy didn’t use the new bell when he dropped off my package 30 minutes later.
Ah, well, maybe next time.
