While gelatin derived desserts have been around since the late 1880s, the 1950s were the decade most responsible for those sugary, gelatin sweets that keep popping up at pot lucks.
Um, not a fan, especially as it seemed to be a go-to food for every illness during childhood.
Well, that and ginger ale.
