One thing leads to another

I am currently reading 6 Degrees. The culmination of climate modeling from early in this century. Not all the predictions have occurred. Modeling does have it’s limits, usually based on information and the fact that the planet is extremely complex.

The apocalyptic author in me loves everything about the book. (no judgment please).

But what I find really fascinating is the evidence from paleoclimatology. Imagine the Great Plains as a giant sand box. Imagine the Sahara as a forest and savannah. Imagine a 600 year drought. Fascinating. And despite the dangers of going down a rabbit hole, I am now looking for books on the topic.

Any suggestions?

Until next time, stay healthy.
