How often

How often do you challenge yourself? Not in your professional/career path. I’m talking about in your free time.

Things you do just for you?

My job is challenging–not just learning it, but dealing with the people involved in it. I am not a people person. Work leaves me drained.

And so I come home and veg on the couch until I can go to bed then get up to work and do it all over again.

So not cool.

On the weekends, I do a little better and manage to make some greeting cards and jewelry, although even that falls to the wayside more often than not.

Now, I think I should challenge myself to do one small thing, one thing that isn’t too difficult or require too much energy that I can do for the next 30 days until it becomes a habit.

I don’t know what that thing is yet, but I’ll give myself a week to do find something then start doing it. Hey, maybe that’s my first challenge. LOL

Until next time, stay healthy.

  1. I am interested to learn what you choose. Mine is writing more often, and writing poetry. It has been so long. It feels good to be back at it.
