Back in the 80’s, there was a show called The Golden Girls. In it, the 80 year old mother of one of the ‘girls’ always carried around her purse.
Apparently, I have now become that character.
You see, this last week I noticed that most of the younger generation no longer carries a purse/bag/pocketbook.
Heck, most don’t even carry cash.
There are nifty secret compartments in their phone cases for an id and credit card, or there are cases to slid in cards/ids.
I must say, I see the appeal of not having to constantly carry around a purse.
Although, I don’t know where I would keep those napkins that I am apparently the designated Sherpa.
Hmm, the only downside would be that I would then need pockets. Not all sweatpants have pockets.
Ah, well, change usually requires some kind of sacrifice
Until next time, stay healthy.
Very funny
