Have you heard…

I was watching something and they kept mentioning the term ASRM. ASRM stands for Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response. Basically, it’s a pleasant sensation you experience while hearing a soft voice, whispering, or brushing.

I think of it as white noise.

Now, I know certain songs have the ability to amplify my creativity, so I tend to have playlists for certain books.

But, listening to the sound of the ocean just makes me need to pee.

So…I was a little skeptical and then I found this series of youtube videos by Early American. It is mostly cooking during America’s frontier time with very little speaking. It is in a word–relaxing.

Here’s one:

Either way, I’ve found a great way to destress at the end of the day. And no way, would I trade my appliances for such labor intensive cooking everyday.
