It started around Halloween. You know, when you buy a bag of candy, then eat the candy before Halloween, so you need to buy another bag of candy. Well, I bought multiple bags of candy.

And we had no trick or treaters, so I stashed the candy in the freezer.

Then the holidays started in earnest.

I managed to make some cookies before my surgery then I froze those cookies because there was pie.

Then after my surgery and in that great sugartopia around Christmas, I bought lots of cookies I only see during the holidays.

Then I froze those cookies, too.

I have a lot of cookies in my freezer and some tinned cookies out. In other words, I will be stocked with cookies until probably New Year’s despite me slipping them into the hubbinator’s lunch box.

It is a sweet problem to have.
