Who’s the smartypants?

The hubbinator’s last day at work was on Friday. As a gift, his coworkers purchased a day of the week clock for him. No time, just the day of the week.

To honor such a momentous occasion, I took down the clock in our bedroom and hid it in the closet.

No more 0330 alarms for me. I can finally sleep in until 0430.

Except the cat apparently has its own internal timekeeper. And he knows when it is time to be fed. If I don’t get up, he’s in there batting around a glass painting until I get up. No alarm clock needed.

I could move the painting, but I’ve done that before and then he goes after the mirror on the dresser.

It’s not hard to figure out the smarty pants in the family.

Until next time, stay healthy.
