How Many Dr. Peppers Does it Take

If you follow my posts, you know that I love Dr. Pepper. It fuels my creativity in a way that few other things can.

There are so substitutes for the Dr. but if it’s a knock-off or Coke/Pepsi, I’ll take the knock-off.

So how many cans are in a book? Well, that depends on  how lazy I’ve been. Sometimes, I put myself in a situation where I have to drink three cans to stay up all night and write. Other times, I stick to my limit of one can a day and manage to write a chapter during that time.

Simple math says one can should equal a chapter. But simple math lies. Some chapters require two cans, and other times, I can write 5 chapters on 3 cans.

So the real answer is, I don’t really care as long as the Dr. Pepper keeps coming. Which could be a problem as my son and husband both enjoy a cold drink.

And they’re sneaky about it.

Of course, my favorite is sugar cane Dr. Pepper. My friend Hugh sent me Dublin Dr. Pepper, and you know what he said that American Pickers did a special on it.

So if someone out there can let me know when it airs, I’d love to catch the episode on the internet (I don’t have cable).

Until next time!
