When it Rains, It Grows

We were blessed with rain for 5 beautiful days. From a light mist kissing your face to a proper downpour and rivers in the gutters.

Then the sun came out and chased the clouds away.

Two days later, we got this:

This is nothing compared to the Serengeti that is currently devouring half the planting beds in the backyard. And the wildlife there will eat you alive, too. It’s ants. Ants! I hate them

And yet, I must sally forth and try to tame the wild growth. I just love fall.
