The Switcheroo

It’s that time off year. The temps zoomed from mid-80s to a high of 97F. That’s warm. Too warm for doggie paws on asphalt.

So, I rise and shine and stay awake to take the doggo on a morning walk.

She doesn’t mind. In fact, once the sun goes down, she still gets an evening walk because it still cools down.

But this last weekend, the doggo has taken a page from the cats’ playbook and was a basic turd until I got up and walked her.

So not nice. She did go to sleep eventually.

I wonder how long it will take for her to adjust the new schedule? Scratch that. I wonder how long it will take for me to adjust to the next schedule.

Until next time, stay healthy.
