Happy Halloween

Wishing everyone an amazing Halloween. I hope you get all the candy you want. Of course, you do have to buy it, so why not pick the items you want.

And if you are anything like us, we buy the candy we don’t particularly like to give away to the trick or treaters first:D.

This last Saturday, we went to our first (in a long time)  Halloween Party. I decided it was the perfect reason to make my own costume. It had been a long, long time since I sewed anything that complicated but I managed to muddle through.

We started with chopping big pieces of fabric into little ones:

Obviously that is sideways:D. Next, I finished the dress, added gloves and the necklace I’d made to make this:

It was supposed to be a Downton Abbey era dress that looks slightly like a Disney princess. Hubby was easy. He went as a gangster:

The criminal life suits him.

Until next time! Happy Halloween.
